Scandinavian Pine Lodges

Scandinavian lodges also known as "Norwegian lodges" are traditional log cabins which make ideal accommodation for "get away" retreat. They offer a very high standard of living and are very spacious, usually having an open plan kitchen, dining room and sitting area.

Our lodge Noggin whether you play golf or not is a peaceful and safe retreat for the whole family to enjoy. Noggin lodge is a privately-owned, second home, it therefore has home comforts and has been refurbished with love, care and we think style. We love waking up in the morning in the peace and watching the sun rise through the trees with an uninterrupted view of the golf course; it is truly spectacular. Eating out on the deck is a special experience to remember.

Eco tourism holidays are growing in popularity. We offer a secluded but very stylish environment and peaceful atmosphere. Children can play safely, nature lovers can sit on the deck and watch birds, squirrels, rabbits and pheasants in the surrounds of the lodge and you may, as you walk through the woods spot deer and foxes. Owls can be heard hooting, when lying in bed at night and woodpeckers too. Our lodge is a marvellous holiday destination that gives you a feeling of total relaxation. It has a very well equipped kitchen but the hotel, which is only 10 minutes walk offers very reasonably priced meals (at the time of print two eat for £15 including a bottle of wine) If you don't want to cook, at that price you can treat yourself to evening meals out.

After breakfast on the deck, we enjoy a visit to the Lesiure Centre, a swim, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, followed by coffee and cakes in the very comfortable lounge reading the papers. We also attend the Yoga and Pilates classes, these you need to book for. The gym is very well equipped and its advisable to book, free of charge a 1-1 session to assess your needs. Squash and tennis may also be booked.

Just a few miles away is the local market town of Louth where there are a variety of interesting shops, high quality clothes shops, individual curio shops and a Department Store founded by Adam Eve that was established in 1781. There is an abundance of country pubs and restaurants. Louth has a bustling Market three times a week. You could also explore the many beautiful Lincolnshire villages with their tea rooms, serving Lincolnshire Plum bread.

The Wolds are great for walkers, cyclist and riders. If you want to get fit there are some challenging hills but its totally unspoiled and quiet.

The seal sanctuary at Donna Nook is a lovely day out for animal lovers. The beaches on this coast have beautiful sands, without crowds of people.

If you have never visited Lincolnshire you will be surprised by its unspoiled laid back attitude to life. It reminds us of those carefree days of childhood where everything was at a slow pace, people smiled and there seemed no threat from strangers.
